Welcome, my name is Dr. Anthony M. Polimeni. My staff and I welcome you to our office. Our commitment is to treat your periodontal and dental implant needs in a professional, timely and comfortable manner. Our belief is that treatment is a two-way street of communication. Our goal is to treat you and educate you; we welcome and encourage your questions and comments. Through this care we can help you to keep your natural teeth, avoid further infection and discomfort and positively affect your overall dental health.

Our philosophy is simple. We are committed to preserving the health, function and appearance of your natural dentition through high-quality, state-of-the-art periodontal and dental implant therapy. In order to achieve this goal, we encourage a team approach between you, your family dentist and our office. You and

your dentist will be advised and informed fully as to all treatment plans and objectives.

At your consultation and examination visit, your medical and dental histories will be reviewed prior to your clinical examination.

Your clinical evaluation will include:

	Oral cancer examination
	Examination of your teeth, gum tissues and bite
	Periodontal probing (gum measurements) and charting.
	X-rays as necessary

Through this gathering of important data, Dr. Polimeni will advise you as to your condition and what treatment will be involved to correct your problem.

For your protection and ours, our office follows a stringent sterilization protocol. Our procedures meet and/or exceed federal regulations for health care providers. All instruments used in your mouth are either disposable or are scrubbed, ultrasonically cleaned and then autoclaved under steam and pressure to ensure sterility between patients. We routinely wear masks, gloves and protective eyewear for procedures. We realize that every time you visit our office you place a very special trust in our hands and we do not take this trust lightly.

Our financial policy is payment of fees on the day of service. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express Cards. Payment options and plans are available for those patients with advanced treatment needs. We are happy to furnish you with these options upon request. For our patients with dental insurance, our staff will handle filling out forms for both payment and pre-determination of benefits.
